Savoir Faire Cosmetics Lipgloss

I have two of these gorgeous lip glosses that I purchased from The Bellabox Australia website.
Here's what Bellabox has to say about them:
"A perfect fusion of lightweight gloss for ease of wear and colourful shine for a beautiful finish, these long lasting lip glosses offers a fresh scent and flavour coupled with stunning colour impact. Glam up your lips and achieve a lustrous lip look with luxurious hydration and fuller, gorgeous colour.
Choose between:
Darling: A translucent pearl shade with a vanilla scent.
Fierce: A red/orange shade with gold flecks and a cinnamon scent.
Bon-Bon: A hot pink shade with a caramel toffee scent.
Lolita: A peach coloured tone with a peaches and cream scent.
Rapture: A lovely red colour with a peppermint scent."

(Above - Packaging - Top Darling and Bottom Rapture)

(Above Swatches on my arm - Left Darling and Right Rapture)

These are my favorite lip glosses to break out when I don't feel in the mood for lipstick and if lip balm just isn't enough! They feel good on the lips, not too sticky or too slippery. They are nice and pigmented and they smell just like their own individual scent. Darling is a clear/Pearlised gloss that smells of a yummy sweet classic vanilla and tastes just as good! Rapture is a classic bright red gloss with a strong peppermint smell and taste which is great for a date (especially if you're hoping for a kiss!) The scent and taste of these glosses really lingers and even if you can't resist licking your lips you will still be able to taste them hours later.

NYX Lip Products Review

Hey Guys!
I've been cleaning out my lip products collection today so I thought I'd do some little reviews and swatches for you, these are the two NYX lip products that I own:

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Istanbul.
(Left - Packaging, Right - Swatch on my arm)
This product is basically a matte lip gloss it is nicely pigmented and goes on easily it doesn't set fully it keeps a kind of creamy consistency on the lips. Istanbul is a creamy peachy pink colour, it has a sweet pleasant smell and the applicator is a standard doe foot type applicator. I find this product can be a little drying on my lips as I do tend to have dry lips anyway. This product is $12.95AUD at Target and comes in around 22 different shades (however I couldn't find all of the shades in my local target).

 NYX Matte Lipstick in Natural
(Above - Packaging, Below - Swatch on my arm)

This lipstick is an affordable matte formula lipstick which comes in tons of different shades. Natural is a deep nude/dark pink and is a great shade for job interviews and formal occasions or even as a nice everyday work lipstick. The product has a slight sweet scent to it and is fairly long lasting on the lips, again this formula is a little drying on my lips but this may be again due to my lips being on the dry side normally. I like the simple classy looking packaging which is sturdy and doesn't seem cheap at all.

Mini Reviews

Hey Beauty's!

I have a few products that I've been using recently that I'm going to pop together with some mini reviews for you. If you'd like a more in depth review of any of these products just let me know in the comments and i'll do a full review. Here we go:

Grace Cole England Body Spritz in Strawberry & Kiwi

I picked this up from Chemist Warehouse for $5.99AUD and I've been using it for about 3 months now. This is a light mist type body fragrance that smells delicious! It has enough of a scent to it to make it worth wearing but it isn't strong or overpowering and you could totally layer it if you wanted a stronger scent because they also have matching body wash, body butter, body scrub, body lotion, hand wash, hand lotion and lip balm!! You can buy other scents which sound just as delicious as this one such as Coconut & Lime, Peach & Pear, Pineapple & Passionfruit, Watermelon & Pink Grapefruit and Passionfruit and Guava. These are perfect scents for summer and are so wearable and as a bonus during summer keep it in the fridge as a cooling mist mmmmm.

People for Plants Mist Toner

This is an Australian made, cruelty free, certified organic and vegan friendly spray style mist toner with Rose Otto, Burdock and Kakadu Plum. I must admit I don't use Toner at all and this was a freebie in a Priceline gift bag, I do use this though as a makeup setting spray, as a quick hit of moisture if my skin is looking dry, as a refreshing face mist (again this is awesome in summer straight out of the fridge) I take this if I'm traveling and it mainly goes with me everywhere in my bag because its a great pick me up at any time it has a really unique scent to it of essential oils with a spa type smell and a hint of fruit from the Plum. I actually love this product and I will definitely repurchase this little baby especially with summer coming up! It retails for $19.95AUD and lasts for ages due to it being a mist which prevents you from using too much product.
What People for Plants say:
"If you’ve ever dreamed of luminent, energised skin but don’t like the idea of caking your face in chemicals, you will love the Rose Otto, Burdock & Kakadu Plum Mist Toner from People for Plants. Rose otto, the most precious and purest of uplifting essences, awakens the senses, while a fusion of kakadu plum and burdock will brighten and energise your skin. Add to that some witch hazel and aloe vera juice, and you have a mist toner that is all at once intensely hydrating, soothing, and illuminating. People for Plants’ Mist Toner is designed to instantly deliver moisture to tired and thirsty skin. Ideal for hot days, when flying, spending long periods in air-conditioning, or for setting makeup, this delicate mist will keep your skin looking its best all day long."

Manicare Moisturising Nail Polish Remover Pads

I picked these babies up recently from Target for $3.99AUD, which is a great price for 32 pads as one pad will usually remove the polish from all 10 of my fingernails! They remove even glitter nail polish easily and they smell like coconut and not at all like nail polish remover. They do leave a greasy residue on your nails but this comes off easily with a simple hand washing. The only downside about these is the packaging seems very flimsy the lid doesn't stay on well so I have an elastic band around mine to stop the pads from drying out.

Antipodes Avocado Pear Night Cream

I must admit I'm not really a fan of this product it's quite greasy and has an odd smell to it, it reminds me of a hippy type store! I've been using this sample sized tube for about 2 months now but to be honest I couldn't stand the feeling of it on my face so I've reverted to using it as a hand treatment cream. I wouldn't repurchase this product especially as it costs around $60.00AUD!!!!
What Antipodes say:
"Nourish skin each night with this scientifically validated cream containing premium ingredients. Native New Zealand manuka honey Active 20+ draws moisture to your skin to help bring a truly ageless visage. Revolutionary Vinanza Grape® is a potent antioxidant extract from Marlborough sauvignon blanc grape seeds to help neutralise the effects of free radical damage that can lead to premature ageing. Suited to most skin conditions, especially mature and dry."

Review - Revlon Parfumerie Scented Nail Enamel

Good morning beauties,

Today I'm reviewing the Revlon Parfumerie Scented Nail Enamels.
These adorable nail enamels come in 24 different shades, each with it's own yummy scent, which is revealed as the polish dries and lasts for about 24 hours on the nails before fading away.
The packaging is totally adorable, they are designed to look like cute little perfume bottles and personally I think they look beautiful and classic.

Today I have the 4 colours/Scents that I have purchased to show you:

Wintermint, Moonlit Woods, Autumn Spice, Pink Pineapple.

Wintermint

A beautiful teal with varying shades and sizes of glitter ranging from larger green glitters to small delicate gold glitters. The above swatch is only one coat of this gorgeous shade which is one of my favorites and has a yummy minty smell which reminds me of Extra chewing gum spearmint YUM!

Moonlit Woods

This is a lovely mysterious purple which has the appearance of satin or silk  on the nails and a sexy floral purfume scent as it dries. The formula of this one can be a little tricky as you can see from the swatch it can be a little streaky/patchy (this is two coats) but if you get it right it does look stunning, like your nails are covered in rich luxurious silk.

Autumn Spice

This one is my favorite and the pictures do not do it justice! Its a lovely deep brown loaded with copper toned glitter, the glitter isn't chunky its very subtle and makes this polish catch the light beautifully. The above swatch is only one coat of this polish it's very pigmented  and smells like a yummy Chai latte!

Pink Pinapple

This would have to be my favorite go-to shade for job interviews or sophisticated occasions, it's a subtle your nails but better shade, very sheer and pretty. You will need at least two coats of this one but it's definitely worth it if you love a natural, pretty look and bonus it smells like sweet fresh cut pineapple!

Overall I find these polishes to be great, the formulas mostly seems easy to work with and the scents are a unique bonus. At the moment you can find these for $9.57AUD at Priceline, I think next I want to pick up Surf Spray, Apricot Nectar and Chocolate Truffle! Which shades do you want to try?

xx
